Who am I? I am the one provoking war around the world
By Mohammed Abuanhel
Who am I?, I am the United States. What do I do? I support, launch, and spark wars, and prevent peace from taking place. Additionally, I use democracy as a pretext to do what I want to do. When do I do this? I have been doing this since my foundation. Where do I do this? I do it anywhere; I have a fingerprint of blood almost everywhere. How do I do this? I have different ways to do this, but mainly by providing money and weapons to countries, or I get involved by myself. Why do I do this? I do this to advance my own perceived strategic interests. Then, who am I? I am a demon in human form. It is important to note that this is the U.S. foreign policy, not the general public.
These few lines describe the United States as an actor, in which a hidden or seen role. It can be hidden role when the U.S. gets involved in supporting war as the case in Ukraine and Israel. While the ‘seen’ role can be found in the direct involvement of the U.S., as the case in Iraq and Afghanistan.Â
We all know the United States, but are we aware of its artificial foreign policy and its fake war propaganda? Currently, there are two deadly wars are taking place: The first war is at the center of Europe, the Russian war in Ukraine. The second war is at the center of the Middle East, the Israel War against the Palestinians in Gaza.Â
Both wars share some similarities in many aspects. Notably, the United States takes a leading role in both wars, serving as the primary supporter of Israel and Ukraine. Unsurprisingly, the NATO and the European Union follows a similar approach, and there is political cooperation between Israel and Ukraine.
The war in Ukraine started two years ago, but in fact it started in 2014, and the Palestinian national struggle with Israeli has been going on for76 years. The enduring support of the United States for Israel legitimizes a 56-year occupation marked by unprecedented violations of international law and human rights standards. Over these years, is not there any solution rather than war? Therefore, war is not justified under any circumstances.Â
David Swanson has described all wars as “a lie” in his book, which means that war throughout history is not justified and has been ignited to achieve objectives for the benefit of the war leaders at the expense of humanity.
On the other side, Russia, which is leading the war in Ukraine, is condemning the Israeli war in Gaza, and called for ceasefire. How that is possible? If Russia is a peace lover, then it is better to stop its war in Ukraine. Importantly, Russia is accusing the U.S. of participating in genocide by providing Israel and Ukraine with funds, weapons, and logistical support, in addition to the using of the veto to prevent the cessation of the Israeli war in Gaza.
At the same time, the community that was exposed to the Holocaust is now committing a Holocaust. How can someone who has been exposed to a Holocaust perform a Holocaust? Is not this enough to say that it is a topsy-turvy world, where aggressors are victims, foreigners are natives, and the colonizer intrepidly seeks peace.
The current Israeli war in Gaza is the longest among many other Israeli wars. The failure to achieve a ceasefire is exacerbated by the United States’ continued use of its veto power, preventing diplomatic resolutions and perpetuating the cycle of violence.
The consequences of this Israeli war is that it could potentially expand, as can be seen through the threat to global economic security due to the tension in the Red Sea. The ongoing war not only has a detrimental impact on local economies but also has the potential for more humanitarian disasters, thereby compromising global stability.
This extension of war might lead to a creation of extremist groups; therefore, the United Stated will then proclaim reasons to get involve in other wars in different regions to impose its domination, as it attempted to do in Afghanistan. Is not this what the U.S. might seek?
Wherever war is taking place, the U.S. has direct and indirect involvement. This involvement is ‘justified’ by many unconvincing reasons. However, as time passes, the truth will shine one day. For example, the New York Times revealed the existence of 12 secret bases in Ukraine to spy on Russia.Â
In February 2024, it was reported that US special forces troops will be permanently stationed in Taiwan. The deployment of trainers to Taiwan not only amplifies the military presence but also raises concerns about the potential for increased conflict. During the administrations of both Donald Trump and Joe Biden, the United States  escalated arms sales and deployed trainers to Taiwan. This contributes to the militarization of Taiwan, further heightening regional tensions.
Furthermore, the U.S. established a permanent presence in Kinmen and Penghu, Taiwan. This establishment also exacerbates the existing instability. Other countries, including China, may perceive this action as provocative, which might intensify geopolitical tensions and undermine endeavors to uphold a stable and peaceful atmosphere in the region.
Overall, who am I? I am the force triggering conflicts and war worldwide. The extent of the role the U.S. is assuming is even more dangerous than we might conceive at first glance; its influence permeates every corner of the globe, with numerous military bases strategically positioned worldwide.Â
The disturbing reality exposes that the United States is exerting a significant effect, exceeding our most dire concerns.
