Uzbekistan launches mass evaluation system to standardize real estate values
New system to assess 8 million properties, create unified database, and ensure tax fairness
TASHKENT, Uzbekistan (MNTV) – Uzbekistan will implement a nationwide mass evaluation system to determine real estate market values more accurately.
A presidential decree, “On the Introduction of Real Estate Valuation”, outlines the plan.
According to Qalampir.uz, the initiative aims to modernize property valuation, ensuring transparency and fair taxation.
Authorities will assess over 8 million residential and non-residential properties, along with nearly 7 million land plots. The determined values will be used for taxation, purchases, mortgages, expropriations, and other public needs.
A centralized database will be established to track real estate prices and ensure consistency.
To oversee the evaluation process, the National Center for Public Assessment of Real Estate will be established under the Cadastre Agency.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance will lead policy implementation and ensure compliance with international valuation standards.
By November 1, authorities will launch the Monitoring of Real Estate Market system, which will collect, process, and analyze real estate data.
Additionally, the Metering Real Estate system will be introduced to calculate market values based on real-time market conditions.
