US ‘outraged’ by Israeli killing of Save the Children worker in Gaza
The State Department has voiced outrage at the reported killing of a Save the Children aid worker in Gaza last weekend.
The group confirmed Saturday the death of staffer Ahmad Faisal Isleem Al-Qadi in an Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis.
Spokesman Vedant Patel said humanitarian workers must be protected so they can safely deliver aid, whether it be in Gaza or anywhere in the world.
He is the second worker Israel has killed in Gaza since it began its war on the region in October last year.
