‘US helped Israel in deadly Lebanon explosions’
Israeli media outlets are claiming that there was coordination between Israel and the United States in the explosions of wireless devices in Lebanon.
Thousands of pagers and Icom wireless devices used by Hezbollah and medics exploded across Lebanon this week, causing 26 deaths and injuring over 3,200 people.
Israel’s official broadcaster KAN reports that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant spoke twice with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, just before the two waves of explosions occurred.
The first call reportedly took place minutes before the initial explosions, with the second call preceding the subsequent blasts.
However, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has rejected these claims, saying Washington had no prior knowledge of the explosions and was not involved.
The incident has raised tensions in the region, with both sides presenting conflicting narratives.
