Ukranians Flee Capital As 40-Mile Long Russian Military Convoy Reaches Kyiv
Satellite images show a Russian military convoy stretching about 40 miles just north of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, which has already repulsed several assaults.
The Russian army told Kyiv residents they can freely leave by a single highway, raising fears of an all-out attack.
Ukrainians fear it is the “last safe day in Kyiv” as they flood into a train station in the capital attempting to catch a ride to safety as invading Russian troops close in.
“We are leaving today because we are very scared to be killed by Russian soldiers. We are very scared to receive a rocket to our underground, our house. We’re trying to leave just to stay alive.”
“We left our grandfather, our grandmother, and our flat with everything that we had. We just have little bags and our dog.
