UK-based Muslim sports company supports athletes with Ramadan packs
Initiative helps athletes balance faith and physicality during the holy month
LONDON (MNTV) — Nujum Sports, a UK-based not-for-profit, is continuing its support of Muslim athletes with the release of its annual Ramadan packs, aimed at helping them navigate the challenges of fasting while maintaining peak performance.
The initiative, now in its fifth consecutive year, has gained traction, reaching more athletes across the globe.
The special packs, which include a travel prayer mat, dates, honey, prayer beads, holy water, and attar perfume, offer both physical support and spiritual nourishment during the holy month of Ramadan.
In 2023, Nujum Sports distributed 300 packs across five countries, but in 2025, that number has increased to 500 packs across eight countries, including 125 UK-based clubs and organizations.
Athletes from top clubs such as AC Milan’s Yunus Musah, Crystal Palace’s Cheick Doucouré, and Cardiff City’s Anwar El Ghazi are among those receiving the packs this year.
As Ramadan becomes more integrated into elite sports, initiatives like this one are helping promote faith-based inclusivity in football, making the sport more accessible for Muslim athletes worldwide.
