U.S. NGOS, CUBANS ABROAD SEND MILK POWDER TO CUBA
The U.S. and U.S.-based Cuban organizations have sent roughly seven tonnes of powdered milk to Cuba.
The island is suffering from severe shortages of food and medicine.
This is the result of the tightening of a US embargo on Cuba by former president Donald Trump.
President Biden has not lifted it.
It is also because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
