Turkish intelligence nabs PKK militant in northern Iraq
ANKARA – A PKK fighter was brought to Turkiye after he was nabbed in an operation led by Turkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) in northern Iraq, according to security sources.
The MIT initiated efforts to nab the PKK member Abdulkerim Yilmaz, who has a track record for aiding the PKK, said the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Yilmaz was brought back to Turkiye after he was persuaded by the security units.
