Trump declares Harris ‘fired’ at Madison Square Garden rally
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump electrified a crowd of nearly 20,000 at Madison Square Garden in New York, urging Americans to reclaim their future.
“This will be America’s new golden age,” he declared, criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden.
In his usual rhetoric, he said, “Kamala, you’re fired, you have destroyed our country.”
Trump also took a jab at Harris’s teleprompter mishap during a recent speech, saying, “No matter how good your people are that operate this machinery, it’s going to break.”
The rally drew controversy when comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made derogatory remarks about Puerto Rico, sparking backlash from Florida Republican Representative Maria Elvira Salazar, who called the comment “racist” and unrepresentative of GOP values.
She emphasized the need to honor Puerto Rico’s contributions, including their service in Vietnam, urging education over mockery.
