Thousands Mourn 2 Palestinians Killed In West Bank
On Sunday, thousands of Palestinians bid farewell to two men killed by Israeli fire in the occupied West Bank.
Mourners participated in the funeral procession for 32-year-old Rabi Arafah Rabi in the city of Qalqilya, Anadolu Agency reports.
Rabi died Saturday from wounds sustained from an Israeli bullet to the head at a military checkpoint, the health ministry reports.
Thousands also took part in the funeral procession for Tamer al-Kilani in the West Bank city of Nablus.
A Palestinian group, “Lions’ Den,” blamed Israel for al-Kilani’s death, saying he was killed by the explosion of a bomb planted by Israel.
Israeli authorities did not comment on al-Kilani’s death.
They blamed the Lions’ Den for a number of attacks against Israeli targets.
