RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – A teenaged Palestinian detainee on Friday succumbed to his wounds in an Israeli hospital.
In a statement, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO)-run Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs said Mohammad Ghawadra, 17, from the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, underwent an operation at the Israeli Tal Hashomer hospital but succumbed to his wounds.
Ghawadra was detained on Sept. 4 along with his cousin after they allegedly carried out an attack against Israeli settlers in the Jordan Valley area in the occupied West Bank.
