Syrian Airlines resumes flights to UAE with expanded schedule
Carrier to operate routes to Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi as part of phased network restoration
DAMASCUS, Syria (MNTV) – Syrian Airlines has announced the official resumption of direct passenger flights between Damascus and the United Arab Emirates, beginning Sunday, as part of a phased reactivation of its regional flight network.
According to Sana News, the national carrier stated that four weekly flights will initially operate between Damascus and Dubai on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
The airline intends to increase this to daily service in the near future, pending regulatory approvals.
Additionally, flights to Sharjah will run three times per week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, with plans underway to also expand that route to daily frequency.
The Damascus–Abu Dhabi route will be served on Tuesdays and Fridays during the initial phase.
In a statement published on its official Facebook page, Syrian Airlines said it was working to scale up operations and restore its full flight schedule as quickly as possible.
The airline urged passengers to contact its offices within Syria and abroad for the latest information on bookings and timetables.
The move is part of broader efforts to re-establish Syria’s air connectivity with the region after years of limited international operations.
