Sudan envoy in Israel
JERUSALEM (AA) – A Sudanese envoy reportedly arrived in Israel this week for talks on boosting relations between Khartoum and Tel Aviv, according to Israeli media on Wednesday.
“The envoy arrived to meet with Israeli officials, with the aim of strengthening relations between the two countries,” the official Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC) reported.
The media outlet neither revealed the identity of the Sudanese envoy nor the Israeli officials with whom he met.
There was no comment from the Sudanese authorities on the report.
Last month, the same media outlet reported that an Israeli delegation had arrived in Khartoum after a stop in Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh city.
