Israel raids Gaza hospital, kills 81 Palestinians in 24 hours
Israeli forces stormed Gaza’s al-Shifa Hospital, marking the fourth raid since October.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that more than 80 people, including medical staff and evacuees, were detained.
The Israeli military alleges that Palestine resistance fighters had regrouped inside the hospital.
But the Palestinian Media Office says Israel continues to use fabricated narratives to justify its actions.
Israel has also killed a senior Palestinian police officer in charge of securing the entry of aid into northern Gaza.
Citing unnamed sources, the Qatar-based network said Faiq Mabhouh, director general of police operations, was killed inside the Shifa complex.
Israeli forces claim one soldier died in the raid, bringing the total Israeli casualties in its war on Gaza to 250.
In the last 24 hours, Israeli attacks have killed 81 Palestinians and wounded 116.
At least 31,726 Palestinians have been killed and 73,792 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since Oct. 7, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
