Russia Hits 5 Ammunition Depots in Ukraine
MOSCOW (AA) – Five ammunition depots in Ukraine were hit Tuesday with high-precision weapons, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said long-range high-precision cruise missiles hit large fuel and lubricant warehouses in Lysychansk and Kramatorsk, a rocket and artillery weapons warehouse in Druzhkivka and ammunition depots in Nadezhdinka and Novooleksandrivka.
Separately, the Russian Aerospace forces struck 83 Ukraine’s military objects, including four command posts, four air defense systems, three warehouses of rocket and artillery weapons and ammunition and places of accumulation of military equipment, he said.
Russian air defense systems downed six Ukraine’s unmanned aerial vehicles, including one Bayraktar, the spokesman noted.
“In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 236 unmanned aerial vehicles, 185 air defense systems, 1,547 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 154 multiple rocket launchers, 612 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 1,343 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed,” he said.
