Qatar showcases future vision at Expo 2025 Osaka
Qatar Pavilion highlights innovation, sustainability, and culture at global exhibition in Japan
OSAKA (MNTV) – Qatar has taken part in the official opening of Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, reinforcing its commitment to global collaboration and sustainable development.
Held under the overarching theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” the international event brings together over 130 countries and 25 international organizations, with an expected attendance of approximately 28 million visitors, including 3.5 million international guests.
Representing Qatar at the opening ceremony was a high-level delegation led by Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri, Qatar’s ambassador to Japan and commissioner-general of the Qatar Pavilion.
He was joined by Sheikh Ali bin Alwaleed Al-Thani, chairman of the preparatory committee for Qatar’s participation, along with Tariq Al Khalaf, Vice Chairman of the Committee, reported Qatar Tribune.
Qatar’s participation in Expo 2025 reflects its ongoing efforts to foster international partnerships across a range of sectors, including economy, culture, and innovation.
It also aligns with the strategic objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030, which emphasizes sustainable development and the promotion of a knowledge-based economy.
