Protesters spray orange paint on US embassy in London to oppose Trump’s election
A group of climate activists sprayed orange paint on the wall of the U.S. Embassy in London to protest against Republican candidate Donald Trump’s election to the U.S. presidency.
In a statement, the Just Stop Oil activists said they took the action in response to Trump’s victory.
They also reiterated their demand for governments to work together to end the extraction and burning of oil, gas and coal by 2030.
Trump defeated his Democratic rival Vice President Kamala Harris Tuesday, winning 277 Electoral College votes and securing his spot as the nation’s 47th president.
