Polls show decline in Biden support in swing states over Gaza policy
Recent polls indicate that President Joe Biden may face challenges in November’s presidential elections, with Donald Trump leading in five of six battleground states.
Polls conducted by The New York Times, Siena College, and The Philadelphia Inquirer show that 13% of Biden’s 2020 voters in these states are unlikely to support him again.
This setback has come primarily due to his foreign policy and support for Israel’s war on Gaza.
Trump is ahead by notable margins in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, and Nevada, and only trailing slightly in Wisconsin.
Analysts say this shift in voter sentiment could significantly hurt Biden’s chances for reelection, as these states were crucial to his victory in 2020.
