Philadelphia mosque attacked, Quran ripped apart
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly vandalizing the Islamic Society of Greater Philadelphia on Sunday night.
She is facing charges of institutional vandalism, trespass, desecration of objects, and harassment.
Philadelphia police say she ripped apart copies of the Quran, broke the front door window with a cane, and refused to leave after the attack.
The woman has been identified as Sarah Khatab.
Her bail has been set at $25,000.
