Pence Called Out For Not Speaking Out Earlier About Jan. 6 Attack
Former Florida Republican Representative Dave Jolly called out Mike Pence and his top aide for not speaking out earlier about attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
Attempts, he said, that were spurred at former President Donald Trump’s request.
Jolly spoke with MSNBC host Alex Witt on Sunday after watching a clip of former Pence aide Marc Short offering tepid criticism of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
Jolly said that Short and Pence are trying to “normalize” what was “unconstitutional behavior and frankly an authoritarian coup that failed.”
He urged Short and Pence to testify under oath openly in front of the Jan. 6 committee.
