New report says 792 people killed in Kashmir in last 4 years
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – According to a recent report, 792 people have been killed in the Indian-administered state of Jammu and Kashmir in the last four years.
The report, compiled by the research department of the Pakistan-based Kashmir Media Service said at least 2,369 people have been also seriously injured by the use of brute force by Indian authorities since August 5. 2019.

The report pointed out that 52 women were widowed and 128 children were orphaned during this period.

Senior leader and cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been under house arrest in Srinagar continuously since 2019.
Many others like Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai and Altaf Ahmed Shah died in custody.
More than 4,000 people have been detained under various laws.
The report claimed that Hindu nationalist government of India has been confiscating the properties of resistance leaders on one pretext or another.
It is also changing the electoral demography to give the Hindu minority an electoral advantage over the Muslim majority, a blatant exposition of electoral apartheid.
For this purpose, it has granted domicile certificates to thousands of Indians.
“Ultra-Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) backed BJP leadership wants to obliterate Muslims from the region,” the report added.
