Muslim child prodigy set to become youngest ever student at New York University
A 12-year-old Muslim boy will begin classes at New York University this fall, potentially making history by becoming the youngest student ever to study there.
Suborno Isaac Bari astounded the world by graduating from high school at a young age.
He is also known for having memorized the periodic table when he was just 2 years old.
With ambitions to complete a doctoral program, Bari aims to graduate college by age 14.
His academic journey included non-degree classes at several New York universities, alongside achievements in painting, debate, and music.
His father, Rashidul Bari, teaches physics at Brooklyn Technical High school and his mother, Shaheda Bari, is an elementary school teacher.
In 2016, then-President Barack Obama sent him a letter praising the bright student for his hard work and accomplishments.
