Murder of girl in public arouses anger in India
NEW DELHI, India – The murder of a girl in the Indian capital, New Delhi, in full view of onlookers has sparked an outcry in the country.
The 16-year-old was stabbed more than 20 times by her ex-boyfriend
Footage of the attack shows the man repeatedly stabbing the girl and crushing her head.
According to police, the accused, Sahil Khan, pushed the minor and hit her with a concrete slab.
The murder, which took place on Sunday evening, was recorded by CCTV cameras.
Several passers-by can be seen, one of whom makes a feeble attempt to stop Sahil, but then runs away after the latter rebuffs him.
