Kyrgyzstan to modernize healthcare with Russian partnerships
Kyrgyzstan pursues AI-powered healthcare solutions and modern medical equipment to enhance health sector
BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan (MNTV) — Kyrgyzstan is stepping up efforts to modernize its healthcare sector through strategic collaborations with Russian companies.
The recent meetings and exhibitions signal a growing partnership aimed at integrating advanced technologies and state-of-the-art equipment into the country’s health services.
Temir Sariev, Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, recently met with representatives from a Russian company that is working to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into Kyrgyzstan’s medical sector.
The project, which involves digitizing patient medical records, intelligent diagnostics, and treatment recommendations based on data analysis, has already been successfully implemented in Russia, particularly in Moscow.
The Kyrgyz government is keen to launch this technology, with an initial investment of $20 million and collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
In addition to AI technology, the Russian delegation also presented innovative solutions for Kyrgyzstan’s agro-industrial sector.
Among the key proposals were mobile dairy farms, drying machines, and mobile laboratories.
One noteworthy initiative is the introduction of mobile milk processing plants directly on farms, a move that would increase production efficiency and enhance product quality.
Alongside the technological advancements, Kyrgyzstan is also looking to modernize its health resort facilities. Elmira Usenova, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Property Management Department, announced that the country may soon purchase modern medical equipment for its sanatoriums and resorts.
These equipment will enable the resorts to provide cutting-edge health and preventive treatments, with a special focus on rehabilitating patients with serious conditions such as stroke recovery.
Usenova emphasized the goal of making Kyrgyzstan’s health resorts competitive on a global scale, ensuring that they meet international standards.
The exhibition of Russian medical equipment, held as part of the “Modern Health Resorts and Health Resorts of Kyrgyzstan – a New View and Development Prospects” conference, showcased equipment that support a wide range of health procedures.
The initiative furthers the country’s objective to attract not only local visitors but also international clients seeking top-tier medical and wellness services.
