Kyrgyzstan hosts Digital Farmer 2025 forum to promote agricultural innovation

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan (MNTV) – Kyrgyzstan launched the “Digital Farmer 2025” forum in its capital, Bishkek, bringing together farmers, industry experts, and government officials.
The forum will explore the latest advancements in agricultural digitalization and modern farming technologies.
According to Kabar, the Kyrgyz National News Agency, the event, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, aims to introduce innovative tools that enhance productivity, improve resource management, and optimize irrigation systems.
A key highlight is the first-ever demonstration exhibition of modern agricultural technologies, where farmers are engaging with industry experts and learning how to integrate digital solutions into their daily operations.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev emphasized the significance of digital transformation in addressing challenges faced by the agricultural sector.
“Digitalization is a powerful tool that helps make data-driven decisions, predict yields, monitor soil conditions, and streamline resource management,” he said.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the forum also provides training sessions to ensure that digital technologies are accessible and practical for all farmers.
