Kuwaiti Parliamentarians Demand Ban On Entry Of Indian Ruling Party
A group of 22 Kuwaiti parliamentarians on Thursday demanded the government ban the entry of any member related to India’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kuwait.
Mejbel Alshrika, head of the Center for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law shared the official signed request on his Twitter handle.
He said, “We can’t sit back and watch Muslim girls being publicly persecuted. Time for the Muslim Ummah to unite.”
The Islamic Constitutional Movement on Wednesday also staged a protest outside Kuwait’s Indian Embassy in solidarity with the Muslim women in Karnataka.
