Kazakhstan to host major international mechanical engineering forum
ASTANA, Kazakhstan (MNTV) — The XII Kazakhstan Mechanical Engineering Forum will be held on April 24-25, in capital Astana, bringing together over 1,500 participants from more than 20 countries to discuss the future of the industry.
The event will serve as a key platform for fostering collaboration between government officials, industry leaders, and international experts.
The forum will focus on the implementation of Kazakhstan’s Comprehensive Development Plan for mechanical engineering, highlighting robotization, digitalization, and workforce development as crucial areas for industry growth.
Discussions will also explore the role of foreign investments and technology transfers, aiming to enhance Kazakhstan’s position as a regional hub for industrial innovation.
A major part of the forum will be dedicated to the future of core industrial sectors, including railway, agricultural, oil and gas, and automotive machinery. Special attention will be given to modernizing production processes, improving energy efficiency, and advanced digital and automation technologies. Experts will also address the need for skilled labor and strategies to bridge the workforce gap in the sector.
Alongside the forum, the Kazakhstan Machinery Fair 2025 will take place at the IEC EXPO from April 23-25, with over 300 Kazakhstani and international companies presenting the latest innovations in mechanical engineering.
The exhibition will feature new machinery, automation solutions, and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, providing businesses with opportunities to establish partnerships, sign investment agreements, and explore trade deals.
