Jordan Motorsport announces record participation in Baja Jordan 2025
AMMAN, Jordan (MNTV) – Jordan Motorsport has confirmed unprecedented participation levels for this year’s Baja Jordan, set to take place in Aqaba from April 10 to 12.
Baja Jordan is a competitive rally raid event for SSVs (Side-by-Side Vehicles) and cars.
The event represents a significant milestone as it hosts multiple prestigious competitions, including the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas and the Middle East Cup for Cross-Country Bajas, along with the FIM World Cup for Bikes and Quads.
This year’s edition marks a historic first with the introduction of the FIM Asia Cup for Bikes and Quads, reported the Jordan Times.
Additionally, the national Baja Jordan competition will run concurrently, featuring the Wadi Al Qamar Navigation Rally for its second consecutive year.
The event will commence on Thursday, April 10, with the prologue stage scheduled for 1:50 PM at Aqaba’s South Beach.
An official opening ceremony will follow in the Arab Revolt Plaza.
The competition will conclude on Saturday, April 12, with the closing ceremony, awards distribution, and press conference taking place at the same location.
A strong field of 33 competitors has registered for the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas, including 11 participants eligible for championship points.
The FIM World Cup for Bikes and Quads will feature 16 riders, while the Middle East Cup for Cross-Country Bajas will see 14 out of 22 entrants competing for points in this four-round series.
The Middle East Cup calendar includes Baja Jordan (April 10-12), Baja Qatar (November 6-8), and Baja Dubai (November 20-23).
The event will also accommodate participants in the National Baja Jordan and the Wadi Al Qamar Navigation Rally, further enhancing its status as a premier motorsport gathering in the region.
