Jeffries jeers at Trump, says ‘we’re not going back’

Hakeem Jeffries, US House of Representatives Democratic leader, mocked Donald Trump at the Democratic National Convention, saying he is “like an old boyfriend who you broke up with, but he just won’t go away”.
He said Trump had “spent the last four years . . . trying to get back into a relationship with the American people. Bro, we broke up with you for a reason.”
Jeffries said Trump could “spin the block all he wants, but there is no reason for us to ever get back together. . . . We’re not going back.”
