Israeli soldiers mock destruction in Lebanon with Google reviews
Israeli soldiers have sparked outrage by posting mock Google reviews about places they destroyed during their invasion of southern Lebanon.
One review sarcastically described the Ahel al-Quran Mosque near Yarine as “only rubble.”
Another soldier mocked the burning of Mays al-Jabal’s public hospital, calling it “bad service.”
The disturbing trend of soldiers sharing their destructive actions is growing on social media, with content showcasing looting, vandalism, and even detonating buildings.
One soldier reviewed a gym, joking about the “terrible synergy” between a tank and the gym’s tunnels.
Other reviews ridiculed camping cabins and restaurants along the Lebanese border.
Legal experts have raised concerns, warning such content may violate international law.
Since October 2023, Israel’s war on Lebanon has killed more than 3,000 people, escalating after a bombing campaign and ground invasion.
