Israeli settlers vandalize Palestinian properties, set cars ablaze in ‘price tag’ attack
JERUSALEM (AA): Israeli settlers vandalized more Palestinian properties and set four cars ablaze in the Arab town of Abu Ghosh, northwest of Jerusalem, Israeli police said on Monday.
In a statement, the police said that it found “racist graffiti” written on walls in the town.
The attack is suspected to be part of the “price tag” attacks carried out by Israeli right-wingers against Palestinian citizens, according to Israeli public broadcaster KAN.
A similar attack took place in the same town last November.
“Price tag” vandalism is a strategy used by Jewish settlers to attack Palestinians and their property in retaliation for perceived threats to Israeli settlement expansion.
