Israeli president arrives in UAE for official visit
JERUSALEM (AA) – Israeli President Isaac Herzog arrived in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Monday for yet another official visit.
Herzog was welcomed at the airport by Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
On Sunday, the Israeli president had visited Bahrain — his first state visit to the country.
The UAE and Bahrain signed US-sponsored “normalization” agreements with Israel in 2020 to give recognition to the Zionist apartheid state and establish diplomatic relations with it. The move was followed later by Sudan and Morocco. The leadership in Israel-occupied Palestine rejected these “Abraham Accords” as a “stab in the back.”
