Israeli ministry official urinates at site where 5 Palestinians were killed
JERUSALEM, Palestine – A far-right Israeli ministry official was seen relieving himself at the site where five Palestinians were killed.
The act was widely criticized.
Chanamel Dorfman, the chief of staff to National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, was seen relieving himself at the site in the city of Nazareth.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is known for his discriminatory and racist policies toward Palestinians.
Dorfman, accompanied by Israeli security forces, arrived at the site where five Palestinians who were Israeli citizens were killed in an attack motivated by organized crime.
In the presence of numerous police officers and residents, the senior official urinated in public.
The incident was captured on video by a person at the scene.
The official considered the right-hand man of right-wing Minister Ben-Gvir, disregarded the sensitivity of the location.
One person could be seen confronting Dorfman with shouts of “Shame on you! Don’t you see where you’re relieving yourself while women and children are around?”
After this response, the officer quickly returned to his security vehicle.
As these images spread on social media, Dorfman’s scandalous behavior at the scene of the mass murder earned widespread criticism.
Comments on social media included phrases such as “inhuman,” “disgusting behavior,” and “Israel is a racist criminal state”
