Israeli Forces Detain 35 Palestinians In West Bank Raid
Israeli forces detained 35 Palestinians in overnight raids across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, sources said Tuesday.
Twenty Palestinians were detained in Ramallah’s Al-Amarai camp, while another eight were detained in Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
The Israeli army has not released any information on the arrests.
Israeli soldiers often raid West Bank cities and towns, arresting Palestinians under the pretext that they are wanted by Israeli forces.
Palestinian NGOs estimate there are over 4,000 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails, including at least 160 children and 34 women.
