Israel cannot sustain operations without US help: Israeli Air Force official
A top Israeli air force officer has revealed that without US aid, Israel could only sustain its war on Gaza for only a few months.
Amid an 11-month, seven-front conflict, Israel’s air force is advocating for a major increase in domestic production of bombs, missiles, and ammunition.
The goal is to lessen reliance on foreign assistance, especially from the US, where most of Israel’s war equipment comes from.
However, implementing this change will require several years and billions of dollars in investment.
The officer also stressed that it was because of international cooperation that Israel was able to successfully thwart an attack by Iran in April.
As well, the preemptive strike against Hezbollah in August was possible due to cooperation with other countries.
