Israel PM Says It Has A “Wave of Murderous Arab Terrorism”
On Tuesday, a Palestinian who opened fire killing five Israelis was shot dead near Tel Aviv.
The attack brought the number of people killed in the past two weeks to 11, making it one of the deadliest periods in Israel in several years.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett warned of a “wave of murderous Arab terrorism.”
His counterpart, Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian Authority, condemned the attacks denouncing the “killing of Palestinian and Israeli civilians.”
Israeli soldiers raided several Arab cities in northern Israel to arrest suspected Palestinian fighters.
The attack came days after Israeli security forces conducted several raids on the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
