Islamophobic activist gets six officials fired from National Security Council
A known Islamophobic conspiracy theorist has caused six officials at the National Security Council to lose their jobs.
Laura Loomer, who is infamous for her anti-Muslim rhetoric and claims that the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks were an “inside job,” recently met President Donald Trump at the White House and accused these officials of disloyalty.
She has described herself as a “proud Islamophobe”.
According to the New York Times, shortly after Loomer’s accusations, Trump ordered the immediate removal of these staff members.
The incident has sparked widespread criticism over extremist influence in national security decisions.
