Iraqi fishermen in Basra rally in Gulf with boats decked in Palestinian flags
Fishermen gathered in the city of Basra, Iraq, and organized a demonstration in support of Palestine in the Shatt al-Arab Gulf.
They gathered for the occasion of “World Jerusalem Day,” demonstrating their support for the region by decorating their boats and kayaks with Palestinian flags.
Marches are held in some Islamic countries on the last Friday of Ramadan to collectively express the desire for Palestine’s independence.
