Indonesia’s Islamic school to host World Muslim Scout Jamboree in September
JAKARTA, Indonesia (MNTV) – An Indonesian school will hold the World Muslim Scout Jamboree (WMSJ) from September 9 to 14 this year as part of its 100th anniversary.
According to Tempo.co, the event aims to attract 15,000 participants.
In order to host this event, the WMSJ committee has worked with the Indonesian Scout Movement, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the World Islamic Union for Scouts and Youth.
The committee plans to invite participants from all countries that are part of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The event will take place at the Bumi Perkemahan and Graha Wisata (Buperta) Wiladatika, Cibubur, East Jakarta.
