India Lodges Diplomatic Protest Against Singapore PM’s Comments That Nearly Half Of Indian MPS Face Charges
India has lodged a diplomatic protest with Singapore over Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s LEE SHEN LONG’S recent remarks.
Lee said almost half the Indian Parliament members have criminal charges pending against them, including charges of rape and murder.
This issue comes more than a week after New Delhi summoned the South Korean ambassador over Hyundai Motor Co.’s tweets.
The ambassador’s Twitter account posted tweets on Kashmir Solidarity Day to show support for people in the India-administered region.
