‘Full investigation’ of Trump rally shooting promised
House of Representatives speaker Mike Johnson has vowed to conduct a “full investigation” of the shooting at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania.
“The American people deserve to know the truth,” he said in a statement on X. “We will have Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheattle and other appropriate officials from DHS and the FBI appear for a hearing before our committees ASAP.”
The shooting is being investigated as an assassination attempt, according to law enforcement officials.
