Harris gains ground in Sun Belt states
In a recent Fox News poll, Kamala Harris has narrowed the gap with Donald Trump in key Sun Belt battlegrounds.
The surveys, which were conducted from Aug. 23 to 26, reveal a close contest.
Harris leads by 1 point in Arizona and by 2 points in Georgia and Nevada, while Trump edges ahead by 1 point in North Carolina.
The results, which were released Wednesday, show Harris outperforming Joe Biden’s 2024 numbers, with strong support from women, Black voters, and youth.
Despite Trump’s lead on major issues, more voters believe Harris is better suited to unite the country.
Observers say the surveys, taken after the Democratic National Convention last week, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Trump, indicate Harris’ ability to expand the electoral map beyond traditional blue states.
