Hamas says health of Israeli soldier in captivity deteriorates
GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – Palestinian resistance group Hamas said Monday the health of an Israeli soldier in its captivity has deteriorated.
“We announce a deterioration in the health of one of the enemy prisoners in captivity,” Abu Obeida, a spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said on Telegram.
He said more details will be announced by the group, without elaborating.
Hamas holds four Israeli soldiers without disclosing information about their whereabouts. Two of them were captured during the 2014 Israeli war on Gaza, while the other two entered Palestinian territory under unknown circumstances.
