Hamas’ armed wing says it targeted site where ‘60 Israeli soldiers were positioned’ in Gaza
GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – Hamas’ armed wing on Sunday said that it hit a target where “60 Israeli soldiers were positioned” in central Gaza Strip.
“Today (Sunday) at dawn, our members placed three anti-personnel explosives in a circular manner and detonated them at 0430 a.m, at the point where 60 Israeli soldiers were positioned in tents, east of the Juhor ad-Dik region in the center of the Gaza Strip,” Al Qassam Brigades said in a statement.
The statement said that they also targeted Israeli soldiers who survived explosions.
Israel has not yet commented on Al Qassam Brigades’ statement.
The Israeli army aggressively resumed bombing the Gaza Strip early Friday after declaring an end to a week-long pause. It has killed more than 15,200 Palestinians, mostly children and women, since October 7.
