Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades says it targeted 2 Israeli vehicles in northwestern Gaza
GAZA, Palestine (AA) – Hamas’ armed wing said on Thursday that it had targeted two Israeli vehicles in the northwestern Gaza Strip.
The brigades said on Telegram that they targeted two Israeli vehicles in northwestern Gaza with Yasin 105 shells.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli side on the claim.
On Wednesday, the brigades had said that they destroyed two Israeli tanks and four vehicles using Yasin 105 shells in the town of Beit Hanoun.
Gaza’s Interior Ministry said that Israeli military vehicles had “deepened their incursion” into the northern and central parts of the strip.
This week the Israeli army has expanded its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless airstrikes since a cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7.
More than 10,300 people have since been killed in the conflict, including at least 8,796 Palestinians and more than 1,538 Israelis.
Besides the large number of casualties and large displacement of people, basic supplies are running low for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the Israeli siege.
