French Footballer Abdul Majeed Waris Funds Construction Of Mosque In Hometown
Ghanian football star Abdul Majeed Waris, the Racing Strasbourg forward, is funding a mosque project in his Ghanaian hometown.
The Twitter page of the player’s foundation shared photos of the mosque that showed work on the project is moving forward successfully.
The two-story mosque is under construction in the Lamashegu community in Tamale TOH MOH LEE, in the northern region of Ghana, where Waris was born.
The 30-year-old plays for the Ligue 1 side of Racing Strasbourg.
He has been featured 16 times in all competitions for the Ligue.
