Footage of Palestinians burning after airstrike ‘horrifying’: White House
The White House has expressed deep concern over shocking images showing Palestinian civilians burning alive following an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.
A spokesperson described the scenes as “horrifying” and emphasized that Israel must do more to prevent civilian casualties.
The Israeli airstrike hit Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
It killed four and left 40 injured, with many suffering severe burns.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fire spread rapidly through tents housing displaced families.
This attack marks the seventh time Israeli forces have targeted displaced civilians at this location.
International assistance remains critically limited due to Israel’s blockade of the region, worsening shortages of essential supplies.
