FBI director warns of unprecedented multi-layared threats facing America
FBI Director Christopher Wray has highlighted the unprecedented array of threats facing the US, including cybercrime, terrorism, and foreign interference.
Speaking from Minneapolis, Wray expressed concern over the simultaneous rise in domestic and international terrorism, espionage, and election meddling.
He stressed the importance of inter-agency and public-private partnerships to tackle these challenges.
He also noted that law enforcement officers are being killed at alarming rates, including four in Minnesota this year alone.
Wray underscored the need for collaboration with industries and academia to protect cyber-security and innovation from foreign threats.
