‘Enough is enough,’ Qatar’s emir urges end to Israeli war on Gaza
ISTANBUL (AA) – Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has called for an end to the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza, saying “enough is enough.”
“We are saying enough is enough,” Sheikh Tamim said at the opening of the 52nd annual session of the country’s Shura Council, adding that Israel should not be allowed to use water, medicines and food as weapons against an entire population.
“We call for an end to this war that has transcended all limits, and the bloodshed. Spare the civilians from the consequences of military confrontations, and prevent the conflict from spilling over,” Sheikh Tamim said.
The war on Gaza, which has been under Israeli bombardment and a blockade since October 7, has devastated the Strip.
