Electricity at Indonesian Hospital in Gaza cut off
ISTANBUL (AA) – The electricity was cut off at the Indonesian Hospital in the Jabalia region in northern Gaza, where thousands of displaced Palestinians, as well as the wounded and sick, are taking shelter, according to the Health Ministry.
The generators stopped running due to fuel depletion and the hospital was plunged into darkness, it said.
Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip — including hospitals, residences, and houses of worship — since a cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, on Oct. 7.
It has killed at least 11,078 Palestinians, including 4,506 children and 3,027 women.
The Israeli death toll is nearly 1,400, according to official figures.
